2020 September

At long last I am ready to take MyWebsiteNZ to the Internet. It has been quite an enjoyable project to say the least. I've ended up creating more templates than I had originally planned and am really pleased with the result. 550 plus templates later I am ready to give this project of mine a go! I will never charge for my templates – they will always remain freely available to people who have home-based businesses and have creative hobby talents. I don't offer e-commerce templates. There are many online businesses that offer shopping cart and payment gateway services if that is the service you want to offer to your clients.

2020 January

Over the last six months this hobby project has taken on a life of its own. Digital scrapbooking is one of my favourite past-times. I thought rather than create templates with single colour only backgrounds I would combine a collection of scrapbooking art I have purchased over the last few years to create templates with a theme. Scrapbooking art is quite beautiful and colourful and very much suited to web templates for hobbies and home-based services. Some template themes can be applied to a variety of different purposes.

2019 June

For some time I have been thinking about this hobby project of mine. I wanted to design a few web templates which I would make available, at no cost, to people who may not have the financial capability to set up a website for themselves to showcase and sell the results of their talents online. It took a bit of experimentation to finally come up with a variety of styles to suit a variety of needs. I thought some people might like the feel of a menu-driven, multi-page, full web template and some may prefer a product web template specifically for showcasing their products for sale or services they offer from their home base.
